In honor of Valentine’s Day, “Have a Heart” was our office's social goodness theme last week. We aimed to create ways for every employee to show their love and gratitude. From assembling care packages for deployed American troops for Operation Gratitude to giving blood for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to hosting a registry drive for the Be The Match bone marrow registry, we wanted to make sure that we could share as much Honest love as possible!
Blood Drive for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Our friends at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles joined us in our Honest parking lot to host a blood drive for the kids receiving treatment at CHLA. The Honest team spent the day giving back by donating blood for the kids who need it most.

Registry Drive for Bone Marrow with Be The Match
We joined Be the Match to help add our Honest team to the 10.5 million selfless volunteers who are currently on the Match Registry to provide life-saving bone marrow to someone in need. Because nearly 70% of patients do not have a donor match within their own family, it is up to strangers to step in and save a life. With just a simple cheek swab in the office, 22 employees added their name to this extremely important list.

Care Packages for Our Friends in the Military with Operation Gratitude
Each Honest employee stopped by our care package station to create a Valentine’s kit of Honest goodies to send to our heroes in uniform. Complete with a handwritten valentine, each package included an Honest sunscreen, organic lip balm trio, hand sanitizer, and several packs of our travel-size wipes. We are humbled by the dedication of our service men and women and hope that these packs will bring them a moment of delight while they are away from home!
