Honest Halloween: DIY Cardboard Concessions Costume

Materials

  • Honest box (any size)
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Box cutter
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • 6 feet of 2” wide ribbon
  • Safety pin
  • Bag of shelled, roasted peanuts (5lbs)
  • Mini cellophane bags
  • Baker’s twine

Honest Halloween: DIY Cardboard Concessions Costume

Suggested Clothing

  • Baseball hat
  • Baseball shirt, jersey, or t-shirt
  • Jeans or khakis
  • Sneakers
  • Baseball glove (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure and mark 3.5” depth at bottom of box. Use box cutter to cut the top of the box.
  2. Cut the strap in half. Glue one strap with hot glue gun to each side of tray.
  3. Adjust sizing to fit your kiddo and use safety pins to connect the straps.
  4. Add the bags of peanuts to the tray!
