This hypoallergenic formula glides on easily, helps prevent chapped or cracked skin and lips, temporarily protecting minor burns, cuts and scrapes, and soothes irritated skin. How to Use

Apply vegan formula as needed to chafed, chapped, or diaper rash-prone skin for therapeutic relief. Made with allantoin for multi-purpose healing of dry, cracked skin and sunflower seed oil to help support a healthy skin barrier.

Store at room temperature. For external use only. When using this product do not get into eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens, symptoms last more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

What is allantoin?

Allantoin is a compound that is naturally occurring in the human body, in animals and in plants. It can also be produced synthetically. When incorporated in over-the-counter products (aka OTCs) at concentrations of 0.5-2%, Allantoin acts as a skin protectant. It helps to prevent + protect from drying effects of wind and cold weather + helps relieve chapped skin. Additionally, this skin soothing ingredient works to temporarily protect minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

How often should I use this healing ointment?

Our multi-purpose healing ointment can be used as often as needed. Ensure that you apply it to clean + dry skin each time that it’s used.

Is this healing ointment safe for my baby?

All Honest Baby products are safe for use on babies and are designed with babe's delicate skin in mind. This healing ointment is hypoallergenic and vegan. It is also free of fragrances, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, and over 3,500 questionable ingredients.

How can I help prevent dry skin?

There are many reasons you or baby may suffer from dry skin. Oftentimes it may be caused by the environment or certain ingredients found in other products you put on your skin. To heal dry, cracked skin, apply a moisture-rich product such as our healing ointment to affected areas liberally as often as needed. Avoid using products that include alcohol, fragrances and other drying ingredients.
