Meet Honest Product Associate Jasper Jin

What do you love most about working at Honest?

Everyone, every day, gives 110%. I think it comes from all the little things I’ve noticed about our company -- whether it was when we had full participation in dressing up for Halloween, or anytime we’re reformulating or introducing a new product. Even in competing in last year’s oh-so-tasty Crock Pot wars! I’m truly thankful to be part of such an ambitious, intellectual, and just downright friendly group of people.

What is your favorite product?

I have to go with the Laundry Detergent as this spurred my love for all other Honest products. I’ve had eczema all my life and it had gotten progressively worse as I went through college. Eczema started to run down the spine of my back and around my neck, and I found myself itching day and night. When I began using Honest Laundry Detergent I noticed the eczema vanished. I immediately attributed it to my switch from conventional detergent to Honest — hooray!

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

It was not only amazing to see us have such high participation at the 2014 Nautica Malibu Triathlon, but also to have raised one of the highest donation amounts across all companies that participated. Everyone swam, biked, and ran their butts off for such a great cause. It was a fine reminder of how driven and motivated our group is. I’m ready to get out there again!

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

I’ve found myself becoming more and more conscious of the different foods I eat, (almost) completely ditching fast food from my diet. I’m finding more ways to keep myself physically fit, whether it's through sports, in the pool, or at the gym. The mindset I’ve become accustomed to from working at Honest has really translated to my diet and exercise in a healthy way.

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

If I’m not with friends, or watching the Lakers or Dodgers, I’m always looking for new experiences. Whether it’s going to different music festivals and concerts, surfing, or maybe even exploring Europe. No matter what, I’m always looking to have a good time!
