Honest Supports Families in Wake of Hurricane Sandy
November 7, 2012
Pallets of essentials were shipped to families in need in the Rockaways in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. In total, 19,736 individual diapers, plus wipes and baby essentials, were shipped to help our East Coast families in need.
“he truckload of supplies from Honest was a blessing from above. They made certain that the babies on Staten Island affected by Sandy were not overlooked. They came with baby food, diapers, wipes, lotions, and so much more. We distributed all of it to families who lost everything. I remember one young woman who told me she had just had her baby shower two weeks before the hurricane. She lost everything. We loaded up our cars and brought items to families who were seeking specific items, and brought the rest to our local distribution centers. We cannot thank Jessica Alba and her colleagues enough for coming to the rescue of our littlest Islanders.”
