How Do You Do The Deo?

Honest is happy to provide you with safe, healthy options to make your life easier; how you use them, of course, is up to you.  For example, during nearly 2 1/2 years of product testing for Honest Deodorant--our 100th product!--the Honest Product Development and Innovation Team discovered that people have some uniquely energetic ways of applying and drying deodorant! In fact, we think that these moves could be the start of a new craze: You already know The Electric Slide, the Achy-Breaky, the Dougie...now it's time to do The Deo!

We got Honest Alex and Honest Shay from our Client Services Team to show us how they Deo with our naturally odor neutralizing, instantly refreshing, unisex spray. Here's how they got down with Honest Deodorant:

The Chicken

Did you know the first spray deodorant came out in 1941? Well, we're all for bringing a classic back, whether that's our 2014 version or this spin on the wedding dancefloor mainstay, The Chicken. Now, we're flapping with a purpose--to banish BO!

The Shimmy

From the 1960s to the 1980s, the popularity of aerosols didn't just affect what was under our arms. It was also damaging what was above our heads: The Environmental Protection Agency limited the use of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants in aerosols once they were linked to the shrinking ozone layer. Get your swagger going with The Shimmy and know that you're not leaving behind white, sticky, or toxic residues on your shirt (or bad effects on the planet!):

The Waft

Those deodorants with fantasy fragrance names, like "Spring Breeze" and "Sport," are often masking hormone-disrupting phthalates. (And what are sports supposed to smell like, anyway?)  When you do The Waft, you can breathe easier knowing you're wearing natural essential oils and botanical extracts:

The Blow

Many commercial deodorants and anti-perspirants use aluminum-based ingredients which have been linked to Alzheimer's and organ system toxicity, so if you see them on an ingredient list, you should keep it moving! Our aluminum-free deodorant won't clog ducts or pores, so The Blow will sustain that natural breathability:
