#Honestgoodness Recipe: Snowflake Pizza

#Honestgoodness Recipe: Snowflake Pizza

This month, we've been talking about sharing the #Honestgoodness to start healthier cooking with your kids in the kitchen. If you've received your surprise in this month's bundle, you're already familiar with the delicious organic cookie mix from our friends at Foodstirs. For today's #Honestgoodness recipe, we're putting a savory spin on that cute cookie cutter with Foodstir's delicious Snowflake Pizza Recipe. (Of course, any cookie cutter will do throughout the year!)

Making pizzas is a healthy educational food craft for kids of all ages, so let's make the kitchen a classroom! Making dough from scratch and watching how yeast makes dough rise? Food science. Squishing that dough around? Fine motor skills. If you have a picky eater, make a variety of colorful, in-season vegetable toppings available. They'll get a lesson in nutrition and botany. Even if they don't choose them the first time around, your little chef might surprise you with a tasty veggie creation.

Make pizza night extra special with cookie cutters in seasonal shapes and you just might have a new holiday tradition in your home! Share your holiday shaped #Honestgoodness pizza recipe on social media with the hashtag #holidaypizza and keep that cookie cutter working this season!
