If you've yet to try a DIY smoothie bowl, it's time to step up your blender game. We're pretty big fans of this better looking breakfast because it's full of fresh (and fully customizable) flavors. Today's take on the trend is a tropical twist, courtesy of our friends at Foodstirs. Enjoy!

Caribbean Smoothie Bowl

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

For the Smoothie:

1 cup spinach

½ cup kale, chopped

¾ cup frozen mango

¾ cup frozen pineapple

1 banana

1 teaspoon spirulina

2/3 cup coconut water

For the Toppings:

2 tablespoons toasted coconut

½ banana, thinly sliced

¼ cup mango, diced

¼ cup pineapple, diced

Drizzle of honey (optional)

Instructions

Combine all smoothie ingredients in blender and blend on high until thick and smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into bowl and top with cut fruit.
