Fresh Squeezed Fun: DIY Lemonade Stand

Fresh Squeezed Fun: DIY Lemonade Stand

Last week we got crafty and turned some Honest bundle boxes into a super-cute, upcycled lemonade stand. Follow the simple steps below and enjoy all summer long!

DIY LEMONADE STAND

Materials

2 Honest bundle boxes

Box cutter

Ballpoint pen

Permanent marker

Packing tape

Instructions

  1. Collapse your Honest boxes and remove any leftover tape. Select one of the boxes to create the base of your lemonade stand. Straighten the flaps of your box so it stands up on the bottom flaps and the top flaps are extended upwards.
  2. Use a box cutter to carefully remove the back flap, closest to you. Set this piece aside for later.
  3. Cut straight down the middle of the back of your box. This will be your swinging door.
  4. Tape the outside corners of your box (top and bottom) for stability.
  5. Grab the flap you cut off in step 2 and use tape to secure and form a “shelf” or ledge for your lemonade stand.
  6. Remove a flap of cardboard from your second Honest box and cut two medium width strips; these will be brackets for your lemonade stand shelf. Tape into place.
  7. Remove two more flaps from your second Honest box and use to create a frame for your stand. Use a ballpoint pen to score a lengthwise line down the center of each flap, then fold. Tape these into the front corners of your stand.
  8. Remove a long flap from your second Honest box and score a lengthwise line down the middle. Fold in half, then tape on top of your stand to create an awning.
  9. Remove a final flap from your second Honest box and make a sign for your lemonade stand. Secure and you’re ready to open up shop!
