Meet Honest Brand Educator Jordan Meklir

What do you love most about working at Honest?

I'm very lucky to come to work everyday and be around people who inspire me to work harder and reach higher. I love the company culture and sense of community that we have built here, it feels like we are all a family. My job has allowed me to travel the country and see places that I never thought I would go —  it’s been an experience that I will never forget! Did I mention Taco Tuesdays?

What is your favorite product?

The Purely Simple Honest Sunscreen Stick! I always keep one in my purse. It goes on smooth and I love that it is made with Zinc Oxide. The convenient stick makes it easy to protect my face, because being sunburnt is not a good look for me!

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

Participating in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon is my most memorable and proudest Honest moment. This was something I never thought I could accomplish but, with the support of my team at Honest, I was able to reach my goal and cross the finish line. We also got to meet some of the children at CHLA who benefitted from the fundraising. Seeing them smile and hearing their positive outlook was incredibly humbling. I can't wait to do it again this September!

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

I'm a total clean freak! I used to get headaches when I would clean, but since I've started using Honest products, I've noticed that I no longer get that lightheaded feeling. I try to be more conscious of what products I'm using and create a safer home for my friends and family to enjoy. I've been able to pass on some Honest goodies to my two week old niece Micah — she loves the diapers and is looking forward to her first Dreamy Lavender bubble bath!

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

I'm always on the go traveling for work so when I am in LA I love to relax by the beach or check out a rooftop happy hour with my friends. On the weekends you'll likely catch me on my way to a spin class or catching up on my favorite reality shows. I'm a sucker for The Bachelor and love hosting watch parties at my apartment.
