What do you love most about working at Honest?

I love coming to work and being surrounded by such creative and smart people, in a culture where interesting, thoughtful ideas are freely buzzing around and where the work is extremely collaborative. I also love being a guinea pig for certain personal care products that are coming through the pipe…

What is your favorite product?

This is a tough question, but I would have to say the lip balm trio. It was the first Honest product I ever used, long before I was an Honest employee, and I still absolutely love it! I have Honest lip balms stored everywhere…in purses, in drawers, in pockets. Sometimes I discover one in a jacket pocket and it’s like a little present!

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

For Halloween, our legal team thought we were being very cheeky and creative by dressing up as cops and prisoners. We wouldn’t reveal our costumes to the finance team beforehand, despite the fact that we sit next to each other in the office. Come Halloween, of course, the entire finance team independently also had our “brilliant” idea of dressing up as cops and prisoners. I am already brainstorming an "original" for next year!

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

I have always been a huge advocate of filling my home and body with non-toxic and natural products, especially products that go directly on my skin – which is the largest organ in the body. (Some have even said I’m a little neurotic about it!) I’m always reading ingredient labels and I recycle at home. I try to share the knowledge and resources I have access to as a member of the Honest family with my friends and family.

 If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

I am originally from LA, so I have an amazing web of family and friends here that I spend a lot of time with hiking, dancing (spontaneous dance parties preferred) and being gluttonous at some of my favorite restaurants. I love to ski, so I do a lot of ski weekends during the season, which is rapidly approaching even though it doesn’t feel like it in sunny Santa Monica! I also love pottery-making on the potters wheel. I’ve recently taken up re-watching all four seasons of Felicity; I have a certain nostalgia for 90’s early 2000’s television, what can I say?
