Meet Honest Live Chat Representative Alyssa Morgan

This week our Austin office celebrated its 1st birthday! Today, we'll go behind the scenes with one of Austin's first employees and hear some highlights from her first year with Honest.

What do you love most about working at Honest?

What I love most about working at Honest is the people that make up the amazing Honest culture. This is my first job out of college, so I may be biased, but the people here are so great! I feel like every morning I wake up and I get to come to work to collaborate with some awesome people. Since day one, Honest has said that culture is very important to them and it is amazing to see what we have all created. You just can't beat it!

What is your favorite product?

That is a tough one, but I would have to say my favorite product is either the hand soap or the hand sanitizer spray. They are the products that I use daily, and I see a huge difference in comparison to other brands. They they make my hands feel so much better than with other products I’ve tried, and the Honestly free section on the bottle is tough to beat!

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

Celebrating 100 days of Honest in Austin is one of my most memorable moments at Honest. It was amazing to see the Austin Team and the Founders come together to celebrate what we were all able to build out here. It also reminded me of how fast time flies at Honest! It was a huge milestone for us, and it was awesome to see how far we’ve come and how much we’ve accomplished in just 100 short days. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it.

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

I didn't know much about healthy living before working at Honest. Since I started working here, I have become so much more aware of the different toxins we are putting in and on our bodies each day. Honest has not only made me aware, but has also educated me about the different chemicals that can be found in products. Honest has also taught me to eat cleaner. I am much more cautious about what I am putting in and on my body. I am so thankful for all I have learned about living a healthy lifestyle in and out of the office.

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

This one is a no-brainer. Golf is my absolute favorite hobby, so when I’m not at work, I’m probably enjoying a nice day out on the golf course. I have played competitively my whole life, and I love to just play for leisure now. I also love to travel, so anytime I can take a vacation and bring my clubs, I'm a happy camper.
