What do you love most about working at Honest?

Other than the beyond gorgeous office space, I love the people. Each member of our "Honest family" is, of course, extremely talented. What I value even more than theirs skills, are their positive vibes and friendly disposition. Walking into the building each morning brightens my day and enlivens my spirit. I remember walking into our old office for my initial interview 2 years ago.  Each employee I passed by gave me a friendly smile, and each person I met didn't treat me as an outsider, but welcomed me in with open arms. When my family or friends visit the office, they always mention the friendly and inviting atmosphere, too. They point out how lucky I am to work at Honest and that I landed a job at such a wonderful place so early in my career.

What is your favorite product?

Such a tough question since I use pretty much every Honest product at home! I'd have to say the one I use most it the Conditioning Detangler. I highlight my hair and am always nervous about hair breakage. When I wash my hair, it turns into one big, tangled mess. This product helps me easily comb through my hair and leaves it feeling silky smooth and free of any flyaway frizz! Here's a tip: use it on mornings when you don't wash your hair. I hate waking up with my hair in a mess so I just apply this product (8-10 sprays) and brush through. It helps rid my hair of any unnecessary creases and gently tames the mess.

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

My most memorable moment would have to be Halloween 2014. If you didn't already know, Halloween is a pretty big deal at Honest. Some people even plan their outfits months in advance. My first Halloween at Honest was my favorite because a bunch of us girls dressed up as 70's roller-skaters. We bought wigs, vintage tee's and even wore roller skates around the office all day. Half of us had never actually roller skated before so we’d planned to go practice before Halloween, but that never happened. On Halloween we all took a lap around the office to show off our new roller skating skills, but I'm pretty sure people were more scared for our lives than impressed… oh, well! It's still a great memory.

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

I already mentioned that I use a ton of our products, but so does every other employee. I love to light our Soy Candle every night — I can't tell you how many candles I've gone through.  Lavender Vanilla is probably my favorite scent, although, they all smell heavenly! Since my week days are pretty packed and busy, I like to come home at night and give myself some "me time." I'll light the candle, pull out the current book I'm reading (or watch some Netflix), and let myself dive into the story, while my room is smelling absolutely delicious!

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

If I didn't have to work I'd definitely be traveling the world and documenting each location. I'm pretty big on keeping journals and photos of my experiences, and I love being able to look back on memories (luckily we have Facebook & Instagram for that now). If I am not at work currently, I am usually getting dinner with friends, exploring L.A. or spending time with my family. I have a huge family with 23 cousins just on my dad's side and 4 on my mother's side. Family is the most important part of my life. My immediate family lives in Pasadena, and I visit them once a week. Most of my extended family lives in Buffalo, NY, but I still make sure to stay in close contact with them and visit every year!
