Does this pose look familiar? While a more basic pose, the Bound Angle Pose can be a challenge for some. Honest yogi Jessie James is here to show us how to perfect this go-to, restorative stretch.
Bound Angle Pose
Baddha Konasana
Benefits:
This pose stretches your groins, hamstring, and low back. It improves circulation and battles fatigue, mild depression, and menstrual cramps.
Honest Tip:
Though this pose is a level one pose it can be a challenge for some. If you find this pose hard to get comfortable in, that your back is rounded and your knees high off the ground, use props! Sit on a block or a blanket to prop your hips up and work towards sitting tall with a straight spine instead of a rounded spine.
Now go pause, pose, and find peace. We hope your February is off to a great start!
