Q+A with Jane Kim Roggen

We sat down with Honest Mama, foodie and influencer marketing expert @sooplainjane. Here's sneak peak into her morning routine, parenting advice and Honest products she can't live without!

What’s your morning ritual?

Jane: Lemon water, writing out my tasks for the day, and a moment of gratitude.

What’s one Honest product you won’t leave the house without?

Jane: The Sanitizing Alcohol Wipes! We go through so many of these since those little hands touch everything and they’re great for wiping down surfaces on-the-go.

What would you tell yourself as a new mother?

Jane: There’s going to be a lot of hard times, but it’s just a blip in time and you’ll quickly forget about them. You’ve got this! It will get easier.

What is your favorite parenting hack?

Jane: Get products that the whole family can use - makes it so much easier to stock up on essentials and when packing to travel! We all use the Honest shampoo + body wash and the face + body lotion.

What advice do you have for first time parents?

Jane: Trust your maternal/paternal instincts and what feels right for you and your family. I feel as though a lot of people forget that and become inundated with information when at the end of the day, you know best!

What does sustainability mean to you?

Jane: Sustainability to me is being conscious about the environment and not consuming excess waste, instead extending new “life” for products. To me, it means making better decisions in conserving earth’s natural resources for our planet, for my son, and for the future generations to come.
