DIY Whipped Body Butter Recipe

Made with our favorite organic products plus our heavenly scented sweet almond Face + Body Lotion, this simple blend has the perfect combination of moisturizing ingredients:

We love to whip up this homemade body butter recipe when our skin needs a little extra love in the summer and winter months.  

How to Make Homemade Body Butter

Ingredients

1 tube of Gently Nourishing Face + Body Lotion

1/2 tube Organic All-Purpose Balm

10 pumps of Organic Body Oil  

Directions

Step 1: Prepare a stand up mixer with the whisk attachment.

Step 2: Add 1 tube of Gently Nourishing Face + Body Lotion.

To customize the scent of your body butter, you can also swap in our calming Lavender or awakening Sweet Orange Vanilla body lotions.

Step 3: Add 1/2 tube of Organic All-Purpose Balm.

Step 4: Add 10 pumps of Organic Body Oil.

Step 5: Turn on to medium-high for 5 minutes until your mixture is super smooth and creamy.

Step 6: For an extra smooth body butter, remove mixing bowl and use an immersion blender to mix for an additional 2-3 minutes.

How to Store Your Homemade Body Butter

Our recipe yields around 11oz of body butter so we love to store it in these 12oz rustic-chic jars.

For best results, keep it in the fridge. Each batch lasts for up to 30 days.

Because this recipe is made from products that contain naturally-derived ingredients, you may need to give it a quick stir if it begins to separate.
