Women Helping Women: Honest Partners with the Hummingbirds Foundation

At Honest we’re on a mission to empower people to live happy, healthy lives. To broaden our efforts beyond our local community, we recently partnered with Hummingbirds Foundation, a Los Angeles based non-profit organization committed to helping women and children across the globe. With the help of the Hummingbirds, our personal care and beauty products were included in gift bags and hand delivered as part of their project for the women of El Pozo de Vida in Mexico City.

El Pozo de Vida is a U.S. non-profit organization, based in Mexico, that fights for the eradication of modern-day slavery and human trafficking through awareness, advocacy and action. Their refuge center in Mexico City offers housing, education, medical attention and psychological care for affected women. El Pozo de Vida believes in the importance of holistic care, where mind, body, and soul all are treated to help restore health, dignity and purpose.

Each of the 100 gift bags donated to El Pozo de Vida included a variety of Honest and Honest Beauty products, like Organic All-Purpose Balm, Truly Kissable Lip Crayon, Lip Gloss, Makeup Remover Wipes and a Makeup Bag. We hope these women feel seen, supported and empowered.
